First representative of Brazil in the UFC Las Vegas 73, this Saturday (20), Natalia Silva showed why she was considered the biggest favorite of the event. In an impeccable performance, the flyweight (up to 56,7kg) from Minas Gerais was not aware of Victoria Leonardo and knocked out the American with a relentless sequence of blows in the first round.

As a result, Natalia Silva remains undefeated in the UFC octagon. The Minas Gerais native has three victories in three fights for the organization.

Victoria Leonardo took the initiative to walk forward, but even walking backwards, Natalia Silva connected quick combinations on top of the North American. After reducing her rival's momentum, Natália began to control the actions, always with quick and precise combinations. With around two and a half minutes remaining until the end of the first round, the Brazilian connected a beautiful sequence of crosses that led to Victoria Leonardo the knockdown. Natália let her rival get up and continued combining blows, until the final high kick that forced the referee to stop.

In the first fight of UFC Las Vegas 73, valid for the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg), Themba Gorimbo derrotou Takashi Sato in the unanimous decision of the judges (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Superior throughout almost the entire fight, the Zimbabwean based in South Africa came close to settling the score at the beginning of the second round, but had to resist pressure from the Japanese at the end of the fight to take victory.

As a result, Themba Gorimbo achieved his first victory in the UFC octagon, after having debuted with a defeat in the organization in February of this year.

On the other side, Takashi Sato finds himself in a very delicate situation in Ultimate, with four defeats in the last four fights.
