Henry Cejudo praises Max Holloway and reveals strategy to defeat the former champion

After another victory Max Holloway in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the veteran Henry Cejudo tried to dissect the former champion's game. On his YouTube channel, 'Triple C' revealed tips on how to defeat 'Blessed' and reinforced that today, only Alexander Volkanovsky is capable of defeating him in the octagon.

“You can't go 'fire with fire' with Holloway. You have to hit him hard, anticipate him and hit him hard, or get his distance and just start kicking him. You have to kick it. You have to take away his base, set up traps... You can't kick just to kick. You have to clear your path while doing it,” Cejudo said.

The next bantamweight challenger praised the fight between Holloway and Allen, congratulated the 'Blessed' on the victory and recalled that in the featherweight division, he is only second to Alexander Volkanovsky.

"arnold allen I wanted to (fight for the belt), but Holloway is too much for these guys. The third fighter to spend seven hours in the octagon in UFC history. I mean, congratulations to Holloway. The only thing I have to say is that he is number two, behind only Volkanovski, in the featherweight division”, concluded the ‘Triple C’.

While analyzing Max Holloway, Cejudo is preparing for his return to MMA after three years away. At the UFC 288, scheduled for May 06th, Henry will challenge the current bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) aljamain sterling in the main fight of the show.
