Back in the octagon after eight months of inactivity, Bruno Blindado will be highlighted in UFC Las Vegas 71. Inserted on the main card, the Brazilian spoke with excitement about the challenge of facing Brad Tavares, former representative of the top 15 in the middleweight (up to 83,9kg) of Ultimate. Exclusively to SUPER FIGHTS, the combatant narrated his expectations for the clash.
“I like this type of fight. When I know there's a tough guy in front of me, well, I grow more in the fight, I fight better. It's a big fight. Whoever makes the mistake loses. I was very happy about that”, said Blindado.

For this Saturday's appointment (22), Blindado stated that he had changed training programs. According to the fighter, the confrontation against Tavares will be important to return to his origins, bringing back his famous aggressiveness.
“I’ve already changed all my planning. I went back to doing some things. I'm a striker, badass. I started doing this and I'm going to die doing this. It's my style. In my last fights, I was doing a lot of ground, wrestling, and losing what I do best, which is striking. The rest has to be added, improving a weapon, not just focusing on that,” he declared.
At the weekend, Bruno is committed to ending a sequence of two setbacks. If he passes Brad, the Brazilian will resume his climb towards the elite of the category led by Israel adesanya.
