The Brazilian Fabricio Werdum is close to challenging for the UFC heavyweight belt. But before guaranteeing his chance at the title, the athlete from Rio Grande do Sul has to get past Hawaiian Travis Browne.
With a professional record of 17 wins, one draw and five losses, Werdum had a career with great fights, surprising defeats, beautiful submissions and evolution in his striking game.
The most memorable moment of Werdum's career came in June 2010, when he surprised the Russian legend Fedor Emelianenko, considered the greatest heavyweight of all time and submitted his rival right at the beginning of the Strikeforce fight.
