Patrick Côté is ready to deliver an important message to the welterweight division this Wednesday. At the TUF Nations Finale, which will be held in Quebec City, Canada, the fighter will face Kyle Noke in a confrontation between the coaches of the reality show.

Former challenger Anderson Silva for the middleweight belt, Côté believes that his long-standing experience will make the difference in this week's fight. “This fight is not like when I fought with Anderson Silva ou Cung le. These guys are unique, no one does what they do inside the octagon. With Kyle, it was very, very easy to simulate his style with my training partners. Nothing will surprise me on Wednesday night. I will be ready for everything he tries, and I will give the answer to all the problems he tries to bring me”, said the Canadian, in an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.

Côté will have his second fight in the welterweight category. In his debut at the weight, he beat Bobby Voelker in a unanimous decision by the judges. “I think my advantage in this fight is big. I've fought better opponents than him [Noke] and I've been in bigger fights than him. I will leave an important message for the up to 77 kg category. I will finish the fight”, promised the fighter.

However, Côté will have to overcome the time he was away from fighting, as his last performance was in March of last year. The Canadian believes that the period was good for his evolution. “I’m at the top of my game physically and mentally. I took some time to make some adjustments. I'm not blind. I know that, in my category, 80% of the fighters are wrestlers, and that is precisely what has been my weakness. But I took care of it,” he commented.
