Team Quest jiu-jitsu teacher, Ricardo Pantcho analyzed his students' performance at UFC-97. The black belt commented on the victory via submission Krzysztof Soszynski about Brian Stann and the defeat of Xavier Foupa-Pokam for Denis Kang in the unanimous decision of the judges.
“Krzysztof is a guy who has trained a lot of control from above and below, improving his vision of the fight, but he loves and believes a lot in his kimuras”, commented Pantcho who also analyzed the defeat of Frenchman Xavier Foupa-Pokam.
“Xavier was here with us for three weeks, the problem is that his floor is really very weak, but I didn't understand how tired he felt, because his conditioning in training is incredible. In his next fight we have already agreed that he will spend more time with us to improve his ground skills”, he concluded.
