Gallery: Anderson Silva attacks as a model at Fashion Rio and reveals he is 'almost metrosexual'

The time away from the octagon due to recovery from the fracture suffered in the rematch against Chris Weidman has done Anderson Silva diversify its activities. After talking about cinema again and even taking a course to become a police officer in Los Angeles (USA), Spider has now decided to attack the catwalks. During Fashion Rio, a fashion event held in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, the former middleweight champion modeled for the brand “Ausländer”.

Anderson was the main star of the brand's fashion show alongside Rede Globo actress Thaila Ayala. Speaking to journalists at the event, the fighter also revealed himself to be a vain man. “I'm very vain, almost metrosexual,” said Spider, who also revealed that he faces opposition at home when it comes to the pieces he wears. “I use a lot of beauty products, but it dominates the space. My training bag has to have cream, deodorant, a lot of things. I dress to fight according to the day. My wife controls a lot of what I wear. She tells me to take off a shirt and change it for another… And she doesn’t let me wear swim trunks, just shorts,” he added.
