Fighter Sarah Kaufman's next participation in the UFC is once again in doubt. The Canadian, scheduled to fight in her home country at the TUF Nations Finale, on April 16, saw her opponent, the Brazilian Amanda nunes, suffer an injury and leave the card. As a result, Kaufman's participation in the event is uncertain.

The Brazilian suffered a dislocation in her right thumb during a training session, and as a result, she will have to spend a period away from activity. It's the second time Kaufman has seen her opponent get hurt. Initially, she was scheduled to face former TUF participant Shayna Baszler, but the American was also removed from the card due to injury. Consequently, Amanda, who would fight at UFC on FOX 11 on April 19, was called up to replace Baszler.

With just over a week to go until the event, the UFC has not yet commented on what Kaufman's situation will be like. The TUF Nations Finale will be held in Quebec City and will be headlined by a clash between middleweights Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy.
