Eduardo Dantas already has a date to make his next defense of the Bellator bantamweight belt. It will take place on May 2nd, in the city of Atlantic City, in the US state of New Jersey. His opponent will be the experienced Joe Warren.

Dantas, 25 years old, won the title in April 2012 by beating current UFC fighter Zach Makovsky via submission. Since then, he has defended his belt twice, against Marcos “Loro” Galvão and, more recently, Anthony Leone.

Warren, 12 years older than the Brazilian, will try again to win the Bellator belt, as he won the featherweight title in 2010. With a distinguished history in wrestling, the American recently won the bantamweight GP title, beating Nick Kirk and Travis Marx.
