The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission denied Scott Jorgensen's appeal, which requested a review of the result of his defeat to Jussier formiga at UFC Natal due to a headbutt suffered shortly before the submission that gave the Brazilian victory. The entity understood that the coup was accidental and maintained Formiga's victory in the fight, which took place on March 23rd.

The information was released by the North American's press office and reproduced by the “MMA Junkie” website. “CABMMA denied Scott Jorgensen’s appeal. (The entity) will not replace a non-appointment within the cage. Regardless of the outcome of the appeal with CABMMA, we hope that the UFC will grant Scott Jorgensen a rematch,” the statement reads.
