After joining the war between Ukraine and Russia and carrying out military service, Yaroslav Amosov returned and put on a show against Logan storley to unify the welterweight belt (up to 77kg.) of the Bellator 291 next Saturday (25). The Ukrainian dominated the North American and won by unanimous decision from the judges (triple 50-45). The event took place in Dublin, Ireland.

At 29 years old, Amosov has reached an incredible record of 27 wins and no defeats in his career as an MMA professional. The fighter defended his category belt for the first time, which was won in June 2021 against the Brazilian Douglas lima.

Storley, in turn, had a series of three consecutive victories, but his rise was slowed and was unable to unify the title. The North American now has a record of 14 positive results and two negative results in his career.

The rematch helped Amosov adjust his game. After the split decision in November 2020, the Ukrainian showed that he was in tune with his striking and used his striking from close range to connect blows to Storley's face. The champion even used constant leg kicks and left no room for the North American to improve in the fight.
