After completing military service in war, Yaroslav Amosov returns to MMA for title unification at Bellator 291

After completing military service and entering the battlefield in the war between Russia and Ukraine, the lineal welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg.) returns in Bellator 291. Without fighting for over a year, Yaroslav Amosov resumes his career and faces the interim title holder, Logan storley in a struggle for the unification of the throne. The show takes place this Saturday (25), in Dublin, Ireland.

Owner of the belt since the imposing victory over Douglas lima, in 2021, Amosov returns to the sport in an attempt to regain the absolute top spot in the welterweight division. The clash also represents a rematch between the combatants, who faced each other two years ago in a balanced clash.

Brazil will have a representative. In the fight that opens the event, Rafael Hudson, who also fights for Portugal, tries his first victory in Bellator. A featherweight athlete (up to 65,7kg), the Tupiniquim faces off against Khasan Magomedsharipov.

Undefeated in his career in MMA, Amosov wants to expand his legacy in the sport. In addition to trying to defend his belt, the Ukrainian is trying to reach the mark of 27 positive results in a row.
