The UFC's return to Germany, on May 31st, already has its main fight defined. It will be between the middleweights Gegard Mousasi and Mark Muñoz, who will face each other in a five-round fight in the country's capital, Berlin.

Interestingly, the two fighters were the last victims of Lyoto Machida. In October 2013, Muñoz was knocked out in the first round by the Brazilian, with a high kick. Four months later, Machida overcame Mousasi in the judges' decision, in Jaraguá do Sul. The two victories gave the Brazilian the opportunity to compete for the category's belt, against Chris Weidman.

Thus, Muñoz and Mousasi, seventh and 12th respectively in the official UFC rankings, will try to return to their winning ways. The American of Filipino origin has been alternating triumphs and setbacks, as, in his last four fights, he won Chris Leben, lost to Chris Weidman, beat Tim Boetsch and was defeated by Machida. Mousasi, in turn, hadn't lost in seven fights, including one in the UFC, when he beat Ilir Latifi in Sweden.

So far, this is the only fight confirmed for the event, which will possibly be called UFC Fight Night 42. It will be the organization's third time in the country, having held UFC 99 in Cologne and UFC 120 in Oberhausen.
