Former UFC athlete and current commentator, Kenny Florian praised the decision to Jake Paul to venture into mixed martial arts. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the former fighter praised the fact that the digital influencer chose to fight boxing and MMA and praised his dedication to his career, even though he is already a millionaire.

“I can see that he is already training, I know that. I'm not a big fan of youtuber fights and this and that, but I started to respect Jake Paul and what he has done. This is a guy who doesn't need to fight. He's already a millionaire and does a lot of other things. For him to go out there, train hard, prepare for these boxing fights. He's picking the right fights, he's clearly a smart guy. He's making the right decisions when he decides who he fights. He's introducing himself. He is showing that he is dangerous. Now he wants to try his hand at mixed martial arts. I love it,” said Florian.
