The North Americans John hendricks e Robbie Lawler fought an epic fight at the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, in the main fight of UFC 171. For 25 minutes, the welterweights battled for the category belt in a duel with a lot of exchange of blows and alternation in control of the dispute. At the end of 25 minutes, Hendricks won a unanimous decision from the judges in a fight that broke the record for significant strikes connected.
Lawler, who rocked his rival in the third and fourth rounds, did not continue his attacks and missed a good opportunity to end the dispute. But throughout the fight, Johny was more effective and landed more blows, significant attacks and even managed two takedowns.
