Historical executioner of Fedor Emelianenko, Fabricio Werdum did not hide his admiration for the Russian after the legend's retirement at Bellator 290. In an interview with 'Portal do Vale Tudo', the gaucho accepted the challenge of climbing the top 5 in the history of heavyweights in MMA. For Brazilians, the 'Last Emperor' should occupy a prominent place on the list.
“I consider Fedor (the best of all time). What Fedor did, no one did. Staying undefeated for 10 years the way it was, at the time it was, and fighting against the best in the world. (…) I’m not going to put myself first. Stink first, Rodrigo Minotauro, Mirko Cro Cop. (…) Cain Velazquez, for sure and I would put myself on the list too. Without arrogance”, said Fabrício.
