“Of course I’m thrilled (about retirement). As a fighter who believes in God, I gained my fans in the cage, not outside the cage by talking trash. I still have my happy moments in my career. My favorite victory was the first fight with Minotaur. He was number one at the time, he was PRIDE champion, he had the belt and I had to activate my fight IQ to 100%. It was very challenging on the floor and in all areas. Thank God I made it. He was a lot like Cro Cop, but just standing up,” Fedor said.

At 46 years old, Fedor had the last fight of his career at Bellator 290, which took place last Saturday (04), when he was quickly knocked out by the heavyweight champion Ryan bader. Former Pride and Strikorce champion, the 'Last Emperor' hung up his gloves with a record of 40 triumphs and seven setbacks as a professional.
