The big moment has arrived. This Saturday (4), in Inglewood (USA), MMA fans will be able to watch the 'farewell' of one of the biggest names in the sport. At 46 years old, Fedor Emelianenko will face his last challenge, with the right to fight for the belt. At Bellator 290, the Russian will have a reunion with Ryan bader, current heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg.) and executioner of 2019.

Pride icon, the 'Last Emperor' will try to say goodbye to the sport wearing a world champion belt. To do this, the athlete will need to surprise the North American, who has led the division since 2019.

In addition to the clash between Fedor and Bader, Bellator 290 features another title fight. Owner of the middleweights (up to 83,9kg.) since the triumph over Gegard Mousasi in 2022, the undefeated Johnny Eblen faces Anatoly Tokov.

Brazil will have a representative at the show. Neiman Gracie, a standout welterweight (up to 77,1kg), faces Dante Schiro on the preliminary card.

Farewell to Fedor Emelianenko

Responsible for imposing defeats on MMA icons such as Ricardo arona, Renato Babalu, Rodrigo Minotauro, Mark Coleman, Mirco Cro Cop and Pedro Rizzo, Emelianenko will end one of the most successful trajectories in the history of the sport. A professional in the sport since 2000, the Russian will leave mixed martial arts with a total of 47 commitments played.

Willing to ruin Fedor's party, Ryan will seek to repeat the positive result achieved in 2019, when he overcame the Russian legend in the final of the heavyweight Grand Prix at Bellator. On that occasion, the North American needed 35 seconds to knock out his opponent.

At 46 years old, Emelianenko now has 40 wins, six losses and one 'no result' match in the sport. Bader, in turn, has accumulated 30 triumphs, seven setbacks and one 'I didn't answer'.
