Gustafsson and Manuwa make weight for UFC Fight Night 37 main event

Alexander Gustafson and Jimi Manuwa, who will be in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 37, in London, England, had no problems making weight this Friday (07). The Swede, who is looking for another chance to compete for the light heavyweight belt, weighed 92,5 kg on the scale, 0,4 kg below that obtained by Manuwa, who is making his first main event in the UFC.

Among the 20 fighters who will participate in the event, none found it difficult to reach the weight of their respective categories. This includes the two Brazilians, Cláudio Henrique da Silva and Igor Araújo. The encounters, in general, were friendly – the only exception was between Michael Johnson and Melvin Guillard, who, despite greeting each other, looked at each other tensely.

UFC Fight Night 37 will take place this Saturday, March 7th. As it is in Europe, the event will have a different time than usual: the preliminary card will start at 15pm Brasília time.
