Preparing to face Rich Franklin at UFC 99, Wanderlei Silva showed his usual confidence. "The Axe Murderer" stated that he is far from retirement and will continue to step into the octagon aiming to put on a show for the spectators.
“I want to be tested to my limit. I want to face the best and always provide a good show for my fans. A lot of people told me, especially after the last fight, that I should retire, but I'm very young and I have something to show,” said Wand
“I don’t run away from a challenge, I don’t run away from a fight. I'm going to show all my heart, all my technique and put on a great show for everyone. I’ll be there to knock out or be knocked out”, concluded the Brazilian.
UFC-99 takes place on June 13th, in Cologne, Germany.
