Thiago Moisés is left without an opponent and is at risk of missing UFC Rio

Scheduled to face the Brazilian on January 21st, Georgian Guram Kutateladze had to leave the card for undisclosed reasons

About two weeks before the UFC 283, in Rio de Janeiro, light weight (up to 70,3kg) Thiago Moses runs the risk of missing the event. This is because Guram Kutateladze, scheduled to face the Brazilian on January 21st, had to leave the card for undisclosed reasons. The information was initially released by “Ag. Fight.”

According to information from the North American website “MMA Fighting”, Ultimate is looking for a new opponent to Thiago Moses at UFC Rio.

Former RFA champion, Thiago Moses He was hired by the UFC through the first season of “Contender Series Brasil”, in 2018. Since then, the Brazilian has seen action nine times, with five wins and four losses. In his last exhibition, he finished Christos Giagos in the first round, in June.

Guram Kutateladze, in turn, arrived in Ultimate in 2020, riding on eight consecutive victories. The Georgian debuted with a victory over Mateusz gamrot, but comes from a setback against Damir Ismagulov, also in June.

First numbered event of the year, the UFC 283 is captained by the dispute for the vacant light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) between Glover Teixeira e Jamahal hill. The event also presents the first quadrilogy in the organization's history, when Deiveson Figueiredo e Brandon Moreno face each other for the unification of the linear and interim flyweight titles (up to 56,7kg).
