Another chapter in the fight involving Colby covington e Jorge masvidal, in a restaurant located in Miami Beach, in the United States, was written. Now the channel'Real World Police', at the 'YouTube' released the audio of the conversation (check it out below) of 'Chaos' with the police, explaining the case.
Covington reports that he was enjoying dinner with the group'Nelk Boys' – known for 'prank' videos on YouTube, when he chose to change location to continue the night. He, however, would have been surprised and attacked by Masvidal.

“Just as we were about to cross the street, I was hit in the side. Like, I get punched in the mouth really quickly and I kind of get dizzy. I look up and see who it is. I can see it in his eyes. AND Jorge masvidal. I can see his hair sticking out of his hoodie, but he's wearing a face mask, a surgical mask. He tells me, 'You shouldn't have talked about my children.' So I could easily identify that it was his voice, his eyes and his hair. I know exactly who it is. Obviously, I fought this individual two weeks ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the UFC on their pay-per-view. I beat him easily, so I know exactly what he’s like,” says Covington in the audio.
Still on the fight in question, Colby reveals that he broke his tooth in the fight and claims to have been shaken by the situation. The fighter, however, indicates that he does not regret the 'war of words' that preceded the confrontation between the two athletes in the UFC 272, in March this year. On that occasion, he won by unanimous decision of the judges.
“I definitely suffered the injury to my tooth. He chipped my front tooth and broke it. I mean, the adrenaline is still high right now, but he definitely shook me up. I saw stars for a bit, but I stayed on my feet. I was just trying to stay safe. That's all I was worried about. I'm still close to my family and I still like the kids. I was being honest. I told the honest truth. I know it's fight promotion and anything goes when you're trying to sell a fight, but I told the truth”, concluded the fighter.
And now?
Colby covington obtained a restraining order against his former friend. According to the court decision, the 'Jesus of the Streets' is required to stay at least 25 feet (approximately 7,6 meters) from Covington and at least 500 feet (approximately 152,4 meters) from his rival's residence. He also cannot come into direct or indirect contact with his rival. The order was given after Covington claimed to be 'scared' of Masvidal following the attack.
Jorge masvidal, in fact, you cannot come into contact with Colby covington by phone, text messages or social media, as well as any other form of communication. The next hearing date for the ongoing case is set for February 27.
