Finalist in the last edition of The Ultimate Fighter, the Brazilian, based in the United States, Vinicius “Pezão” Magalhães should return to the octagon in the preliminary fights of UFC-97. According to rumors circulated in the American press, the black belt will replace Mike Ciesnolevicz and face fellow TUF-8 participant, Eliot Marshall, on April 18th, in Montreal, Canada.
Pezão, in his last appearance, ended up defeated by technical knockout in the TUF-8 final, in December, while Marshall submitted Jules Bruchez, also in TUF-8.
