This Saturday (17), Ultimate returns to “Apex” to hold the organization’s last event in 2022. UFC Las Vegas 66's main attraction is the duel between middleweights (up to 83,9kg) Jared Cannonier e Sean Strickland, with an eye on the top of the category. Before stepping into the octagon, however, the 26 athletes scheduled for the card need to overcome the challenge against the scales at the official weigh-in, which takes place this Friday afternoon (16), with broadcast starting at 13:50 pm.

Penultimate challenger for the middleweight belt and third place in the division rankings, Jared Cannonier seeks to recover from the defeat suffered against the former champion Israel adesanya, in a title fight held at UFC 276, in July.

On the other side, Sean Strickland, seventh place in the category, tries to turn things around after the knockout suffered against Alex Poatán, current champion, also in UFC 276.

The only Brazilian representative at the last UFC event in 2022 is Alexander Costa. The flyweight (up to 65,7kg) from Manaus makes his debut in the organization and, right away, faces the eighth place in the division, amir albazi.
