Behind the scenes of 'World MMA Awards', the 'Oscar of MMA', were marked by an unusual encounter. Coach Alex Poatán, Glover Teixeira recorded a dialogue with Israel adesanya, historic victim of his pupil in UFC 281. The cameras captured a friendly conversation between the parties.

“We are still at war, but we always have respect. I love your story,” Adesanya told Glover, in a record released by 'The Mac Life'.

In a friendly manner, Glover returned the kindness of the now former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg).

“After all this, I’m happy to see how much money you (Israel and Poatan) made,” he concluded.

At the 'MMA Oscar', Glover was one of the winners. The Minas Gerais native took the stage to receive the trophy for 'Best Fight' of the season. The award references his battle against Jiri Prochazka, when he ended up losing the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.).
