The other four title matches to end in a draw were: B.J. Penn x Caol Uno (2003, lightweight belt), Frankie Edgar x Gray Maynard (2011, light weight), Tyron woodley x Stephen Thompson (2016, welterweight) and Deiveson Figueiredo x Brandon Moreno (2020, flyweight).

The frustrating draw between Blachowicz and Ankalaev, valid for the light heavyweight belt, frustrated (and angered) even Dana White, president of the UFC. At the press conference after the show, the president confirmed the duel between Glover Teixeira e Jamahal hill protocols for UFC 283, on January 21st, in Rio de Janeiro, as the duel that will define the new champion of the under-93kg division.
