The big moment has arrived. This Friday (9), in Uncasville (USA), Brazil can once again have representative Juliana Velasquez as Bellator's flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg). About eight months after her controversial defeat against Liz Carmouche, the former titleholder is rematching the veteran.
In addition to the title fight, the Bellator 289 will present the semi-final in the rooster tournament (up to 61,2kg.). Interim champion of the group, Raufeon Stots defends his belt against Danny Sabatello. On the other side of the key, Magomed Magomedov measures strength with Patrick Mix.
In addition to Velasquez, this Friday's show will feature another Tupiniquim representative. Flyweight athlete, Ilara Joanne shares the circular cage with Denise Kielholtz.
