Alan Nuguette wants to break the betting bank on UFC 169: 'The favorite almost never wins'

Alan Nuguette arrives at UFC 169 with morale. Undefeated in MMA and with 11 victories in a row, the fighter who had humble beginnings does not hide his optimism about moving up to the Octagon. In his second appearance in Ultimate he faces the Canadian John makdessi.

Even though he is considered an underdog for the fight on the betting exchanges, the manuara guarantees that this will not be a problem as soon as the bell rings. “MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world because the favorite almost never wins,” said the fighter in an interview after the weigh-in.

Nuguette also revealed what the game plan will be to have his hand raised after the duel. “The strategy was drawn up together with the team. Let’s try to corner him and work with braziiam jiu-jitsu”, he added.
