'World Cup guide for MMA fans' compares the competition's 32 teams to fighters

On the eve of the start of the FIFA World Cup, Irish website 'Severe MMA' made fun comparisons between teams and fighters

This Sunday (20), Qatar and Ecuador kick off the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the twenty-second edition of the biggest competition between football teams on the planet. With this in mind, the Irish website “Severe MMA” prepared the “Guide to the World Cup for MMA fans”, comparing, in a humorous way, the 32 World Cup teams to mixed martial arts athletes.

The Brazilian team, for example, was compared to the UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg). Francis Ngannou, due to his destructive offensive power and exciting style of competing. See the full list:

They look great catching minnows in America, they probably won't translate to a global level.

Unbelievable attack always gives them a chance, but only one chance.
