Challenger of the then unbeatable Ronda Rousey, the 'Pastor's Daughter' shocked fans by brutally knocking out the champion and ending her unbeaten record in the sport.

One of the most decorated fighters in boxing history, Holm moved to MMA in 2011 and just over four years later arrived in the UFC. After two victories, over Rachel Pennington and Marion Reneau, the 'Pastor's Daughter' won the right to challenge the then undefeated and absolute bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, the first fighter to be signed by Ultimate.

The scenario chosen for the clash was UFC 193, which was hosted at the Ettihad Arena, in Melbourne (AUS). With the fight going on, Holm's strategy was clear: keep moving and avoid the takedowns imposed by the champion. With her striking sharpened by the 'Jackson Wink MMA' team, Holly dominated the fight from the start and with a brutal kick to the face, she knocked out the belt holder in an apotheotic way. The world of MMA was in shock and the career of Ronda Rousey I would never be the same after that day.
