Former UFC champion Jan Blachowicz says Jon Jones will not return to the UFC

The Polish fighter stated that the former owner of the belt is 'afraid of losing' and that, therefore, he will not step foot in the most famous octagon in the world again

The uncertainty about the return (or not) of Jon Jones Ultimate continues to move behind the scenes of MMA. Also a former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), the Pole believes that the division's legend will never fight again and stated that 'Bones' may be 'afraid of losing' due to the higher level of his rivals in the category. The statement was given in an interview with the website 'Middle Easy'.

"I do not believe that Jon Jones will fight again. I think he's so afraid of losing, that he'll do anything not to come back. There was a time when he completely dominated our division. After a few years, everyone caught his level, and it was very difficult for him to win his fights. How with Dominick reyes, it was a very, very close fight. Everyone who fought against him gave a close fight. Closer and closer. So I think he started to feel that he's not that good anymore, that we're growing, reaching his level, and finally someone is going to stop him.
