Away from MMA since the loss to Junior Gypsy at UFC-90, in October, Fabricio Werdum is close to signing with Strikeforce and facing the internet sensation, Kimbo slice.
“I'm negotiating with Strikeforce, I should fight there in May,” he said.
Werdum also stated that he could face street “brawler” Kimbo Slice, who is also negotiating with the organization: “There is the possibility of facing Kimbo”, said the Brazilian who already has a strategy for the fight. “If I face Kimbo, the strategy is to take him down and submit with my jiu-jitsu”, concluded the black belt.
