One of Bellator's favorite destinations on European soil, Italy hosts another event from the organization this Saturday (29). O Bellator 287 arrives at the Alianz Cloud Arena, in Milan, for a card headlined by the duel between lightweights (under 70,3kg) Adam Piccolotti and Mansour Barnaoui.
At 34 years old, Adam Piccolotti continues to search for regularity in the organization for which he has worked since 2015. The American has been alternating defeats and victories in his last four fights. In the last one, in February, “The Bomb”, as he is known, beat veteran Georgi Karakhanyan in a unanimous decision by the judges.

On the other side, Mansour Barnaoui makes his Bellator debut. Born in Tunisia, but naturalized French, the “Afro-Samurai” arrives at the organization on the back of seven consecutive victories and has not known what it is like to lose since 2016.
In the co-main fight, Fabian Edwards, brother of the UFC welterweight champion (up to 77kg) Leon edwards, seeks to get closer to a fight for the Bellator middleweight (up to 83,9kg) belt. Second in the category rankings, the Brit faces Irishman Charlie Ward, who has won seven of his last eight fights at the age of 41.
The only Brazilian representative is on the preliminary card of the event. With more than 50 fights in his career, José Maria “No Chance” makes his Bellator debut. With a stint in the UFC, the 40-year-old from Ceará faces Tajik Sarvardzhon Khamidov, undefeated in MMA with 13 wins.
