The Brazilian José Aldo it has everything! After claiming that he was the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, this Sunday the Nova União athlete did nothing less and knocked out Chris Mickle, at WEC-39, held in the city of Corpus Christi, in the United States. Showing great superiority from the beginning of the fight, Aldo landed a strong knee on the American who attacked and was punished until the referee stopped him in the first round. The other Brazilians on the card were not as lucky. Rafael Rebello, after fighting a very balanced duel with the Japanese Kenji Osawa, ended up being defeated in a split decision by the judges. Marcos Loro was surprised by Damacio Page 18 seconds into the fight and was knocked out with a series of punches.
