With Loughran injured, Erick Silva must face a debutant in Jaraguá do Sul

Brazilian, who is looking to recover within the event, will face Japanese Takenori Sato at UFC Fight Night 36

Erick silva should face a UFC newcomer at the event on February 15th, in Jaraguá do Sul (Santa Catarina). Initially scheduled to fight against Nate Loughran, who was injured, the Brazilian will face Japanese Takenori Sato. The news was initially released on the Combate channel website.

Sato is the champion of the welterweight category at the Pancrase event. He has a record of 17 wins, eight losses and seven draws, and is undefeated in his last ten fights. The fight in Jaraguá do Sul will be his first outside Japan.

Yes, Erick silva seeks recovery in the February event. He is coming off a knockout defeat to South Korean Dong Hyun Kim, in Barueri, in October 2013. In six fights in the UFC, Erick has a record of three wins and three losses.

UFC Fight Night 36 main event will be middleweight Lyoto Machida e Gegard Mousasi.
