the american Dustin poirier starred, alongside the Brazilian Diego Brandao, the most tense encounter at UFC 168. On Friday (27), it was thought that the atmosphere had become bad between the two after Diego exceeded the category limit by more than three kilos. However, Poirier revealed that a threat from Brandão was the reason for his irritation.

“I was actually so angry because before we went on stage he said he was going to stab me in the neck, and they had to separate us. This man is crazy. That's why I was so angry”, said the featherweight, who beat the Brazilian by technical knockout in the first round, during the press conference that followed the event.

The North American also took advantage of the moment to ask for a rematch against Cub swanson, his executioner in February this year. "O Korean zombie beat me, but my other defeat was against Cub swanson. I took the fight at the last minute, cut 13 pounds in a week and flew to London. I had never felt what I felt that night. I want a rematch against Cub swanson, I think I deserve to be 100% and fight”, he concluded.
