After announcing a return to Brazil, the UFC is ready to expand its horizons and should return to another country for 2023. According to the local outlet 'Perth Now', the company is organizing the 'special edition' of issue number 284 to take place in Australia, on February 11th.

The announcement can now be made next Tuesday (11), with the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) Alexander Volkanovsky highlighted. The card in question is scheduled to take place at 'Perth Arena', which usually hosts basketball and tennis matches.

The organization went to Perth for UFC 221, in February 2018, which featured a fight for the interim middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg), between Yoel romero e Luke Rockhold. The Cuban, on that occasion, knocked out his opponent, but did not win the title because he missed weight.

Ultimate's most recent visit to Australia took place in October 2019, with the 'owner of the house' Robert whittaker being surpassed by Israel adesanya, also for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.). Despite speculation, no fight has been confirmed for the show. Alexander Volkanovsky, Robert whittaker e Tai tuivasa are the possible candidates for the lead role in the show.
