“Sad to end like this, I imagine the pain it must be for an athlete to suffer an injury like that. It's sad to see his pain in the Octagon. I felt a pain inside me. It’s sad to know it ended this way,” said Belfort, in an interview with Combate channel after UFC 168.

Despite the regret, Vitor guarantees that he has already started thinking about the duel in front of Chris Weidman. According to the Brazilian, the fight should take place at the beginning of next year.

“This fight has already happened here. The strong use intelligence, and the weak use violence. The fight is won in the mind, in intelligence. Humanity needs to have the great strength of being intelligent, wise, and doing the right thing. Now it's time to crush the grapes to drink good wine. We are going to bring the belt to Brazil, I have confidence in victory, I am confident, I have no arrogance, I have full confidence in the talent that God gave me and I work hard”, he added.

How does the belt come to Brazil if it's not a country competition and he lives in Las Vegas?

  2. Anderson's fight was a percussion accident, while Vitor Belfort was already supposed to be champion for some time, the guy is humble and runs after his goal, be strong Belfort

I'm Brazilian but it's disgusting to see this idiot Belfort talk... I'm really rooting for it but it's just so he can be a loser in the fight for the belt.

Maybe Belfort won't retire... because he is one of the fighters who has brought the most joy to Brazilian and global fans, even though he is considered a veteran. He talks too much, it's true, but he takes the name of Brazil and wins... he can speak the Bible, because his opinion... everyone has their own, even you LAYMAN gave yours Elisha.

We are facing a young opponent who knows all of our athletes' moves.
Therefore, if we do not study his failures, we are handed over to the enemy.
He knew the kick and how to block it with his knee to return the impact to the fighter. Belfort as soon as you are the challenger he studies all your points, don't use force but intelligence, you know what I'm saying.

    Hugs.
