the fight between Edson Barboza and Danny Castillo was chosen as the best of UFC on Fox 9, which was held on Saturday night (14) in Sacramento, United States.

The fight, which was part of the event's preliminary card, earned each fighter a prize of US$50. In the first round, Castillo rocked Barboza in his striking and dominated the actions on the ground, coming close to finishing the fight. However, in the next two rounds, the Brazilian reacted and was more efficient, especially using long-range kicks. Two of the judges gave Barboza the victory, while the other ruled a draw.

In the other awards, there were no surprises. The “Knockout of the Night” took place in the main fight, the flyweight belt dispute between the champion, Demetrious Johnson, and the challenger, Joseph Benavidez. In the first round of the contest, Johnson connected with a right hook that sent Benavidez to the canvas.

The “End of the night” was Urijah faber over Michael McDonald, in the co-main event. It was the only fight that ended without a knockout/technical knockout or the judges' decision.
