After disastrous and controversial weigh-ins, Ultimate confirms changes to UFC 279; check out the new fights

Surrounded by controversy and after a disastrous weigh-in, the UFC 279 underwent changes in its main fights. In the same broadcast, the Ultimate boss indicated that the organization was aware of Chimaev's problems with the weight cut. Thus, the company was already working to solve the problem.

“It's no coincidence that we always schedule athletes with similar weights on the same card in case something goes wrong. Everything worked out. Convincing fighters to accept a last-minute change can be difficult at times. We convinced them and it is confirmed. Fans would like to see Nate diaz and Tony.
