Guest of honor for the UFC Paris, which takes place this Saturday (3), Georges St-Pierre is frequently asked about his ranking of the greatest representatives in the history of MMA. Living legend of the sport, the Canadian, this time, surprised and updated his list, leaving out a Brazilian icon of the sport. The edit was made in a chat with fans promoted by Ultimate.
Royce gracie
Firstly, St-Pierre climbed Royce gracie. The Brazilian was the first champion in the history of the UFC, when clashes were still played in a tournament format, with more than one appearance per event.

“He did things early on that no one had ever done,” he said.
Amanda nunes
In second position, another Tupiniquim star. With two simultaneous belts in her company (cocks and feathers), the 'Lioness' is one of the Canadian's favorites.
“Amanda is already on the list, even without having retired. She is the best fighter of all time,” she stated.
Khabib Nurmagomedov
Russian MMA legend, Khabib Nurmagomedov was not left out. Former lightweight champion in the company, the 'Águia' left the sport in October 2020.
“For everything he achieved. He had a perfect career and ended up undefeated”, he said.
Conor McGregor
Fourth, Georges climbed Conor McGregor. The first double UFC champion, the Irishman gained a prominent place in the Canadian's ranking.
“I selected Conor because he took the sport to another level,” he said.
Without further explanation, St-Pierre completed the top 5 with Jon Jones. The American is the greatest light heavyweight athlete in history and is preparing for his UFC heavyweight debut.
Finally, Georges expanded the ranking with two more icons. Considered by many to be the best of all time, Anderson Silva came sixth, followed by Demetrious Johnson, record holder for UFC belt defenses.
