Brazilians dominated the bonus awards at UFC Fight Night 33, an event held in the early hours of this Saturday (07), in Brisbane, Australia. Mauricio Shogun won the award for best knockout, while Antonio Pezão he got the bonus for best fight of the night. They received US$50, approximately R$116.
Coming from two consecutive defeats, Shogun returned to winning ways in style. With a powerful left hook, he erased James Te Huna in the first round and received praise from Dana White, president of the franchise. The manager called the blow the 'knockout of the century' on his Twitter account. The triumph earned the Brazilian his fifth bonus within Ultimate.
Already the intense battle between the heavyweights Antonio Pezão e Mark Hunt, as expected, was awarded the best fight of the night. The duel, which ended in a draw, was greatly applauded by the public present in the Australian arena. Both fighters pocketed the prize.
