The first presidential debate between candidates for the Presidency of the Republic in the 2022 election gave something to talk about even among the fighters. Aware of the 'political fights', the UFC lightweight athlete (up to 70,3kg) Renato Moicano, joked about the situation and made reference to TV Bandeirantes, which will hold the broadcasting rights on open TV in Brazil from 2023.
“I already knew that TV Bandeirantes had bought the UFC, but it seems that the fight started earlier this year”, wrote Moicano in 'Twitter', in addition to putting 'emojis' laughing at the scenes.

Fight behind the scenes
Last Sunday (28), TV Bandeirantes broadcast the first political debate, which brought together six candidates for the presidency of the republic. Present were: Lula (PT), Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Ciro Gomes (PDT), Simone Tebet (MDB), Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) and Felipe d'Avila (Novo).
In addition to the presidential candidates, who exchanged accusations during the debate, another confusion also agitated behind the scenes. Federal deputy André Janones and Ricardo Salles, supporters of Lula and Bolsonaro, respectively, discussed effusively. The security guards even had to intervene in the discussion in order to prevent an attack.
