This Saturday (13), in the main fight of PFL 8 2022, Rory McDonald entered the cage with the mission of guaranteeing a place in the finals, but was brutally interrupted. The Canadian, who already had a stint in the UFC, ended up being knocked out by Dilano Taylor and lost the chance to fight for the millionaire prize in the welterweight GP (under 77kg).
MacDonald has thus won just one fight from his last five appearances. The Canadian has a record of 23 wins, ten setbacks and one draw.

Taylor is having a great time. The American secured a fight with Sadibou Sy and expanded his record to ten wins and two losses in his professional MMA career.
The fight
Taylor, in the first moments, already chose to put the fight down and needed to escape the submission. The Jamaican, however, didn't even make any progress in his position and the fight returned to the feet. During the exchange, Dilano delivered a good blow that rocked – and bled – MacDonald. Then, the fighter continued to gain the upper hand and delivered a brutal knockout, through a devastating cross.
