Rafael Feijão plans to return to the octagon in early 2014

After a big victory at UFC Goiânia, the fighter wants to take advantage of the time off to recover his knee before his next fight

19 Rafael Feijao Cavalcante punches Thiago SilvaRafael Feijão Can't wait to return to the Octagon. After the knockout of Croatian Igor Pokrajac, at UFC Goiânia, the light heavyweight wants to recover from a minor knee injury, but is aiming for a new fight at the beginning of next year.

“I wasn't injured in my last fight and I started training slowly again. However, my knee was feeling a little. The wear and tear of my last camps was huge. I talked to my trainer and we decided to take advantage of this first month to do a lot of physiotherapy and recover 100%. In a maximum of three months I will be back fighting and with full energy”, said Feijão.

Pointed out by the athlete himself, at the end of his fight at UFC Goiânia, as his best physical moment in his career, the Team Nogueira fighter explained how he prepared for the fight.

“My last preparation was very different, I added several things to my training, like running every day. I dedicated myself much more to the physical part and the results came quickly”, he added.
