St. Pierre removes controversy from his personal life: ‘I’m on vacation, happy and well’

Since you won John hendricks at UFC 167, he suggested he was stopping fighting and said he was going “crazy”, his personal life Georges St Pierre has been scrutinized by the press in search of an explanation. Since then, news has emerged about an unwanted pregnancy, financial problems and even speculation about the health status of the welterweight champion's father. Despite everything that has circulated in the media in recent days, GSP made a point of dismissing the problems and assured that he is doing very well.

“Johny (Hendricks) and I gave you the “Fight of the Night.” I hope you enjoyed. Forget all the rumors. I’m on vacation, happy and well,” wrote St. Pierre on his profile on Twitter. Along with the text, the Canadian published an image in which he appears smiling on the beach, with his index finger raised, indicating the number one. In the photo, GSP appears with his face much less swollen than at the press conference after the fight against Hendricks.

Last Saturday (16), in the main fight of UFC 167, Georges St Pierre won John hendricks by split decision from the judges and retained the Ultimate welterweight title. The result was questioned by a large part of the fans, some specialized press and even the president of the organization Dana White. Since then, rumors have grown that a rematch between the champion and challenger will be scheduled for 2014.
