For UFC president Dana White, the welterweight Josh koscheck He shouldn't be thinking about retirement yet, as he still has the ability to perform at a high level at the event.
Last Saturday (16), at UFC 167, Koscheck, 35 years old, suffered his third consecutive defeat when he suffered a tough knockout to Tyron woodley in the first round. Having also lost to John hendricks e Robbie Lawler, the American sent White a text message that the UFC boss interpreted as a retirement announcement.
White, however, stated that Koscheck is one of the best fighters at his weight, and therefore the thought of retirement was hasty. “I'm not against it when fighters talk about retirement, but this seems a little premature for Josh. He’s still one of the most talented guys,” he assessed.
"I adore Josh koscheck. I love the way he fights, I love his attitude. He gets booed every time he fights, but he still gives it his all. He’s a tough kid,” added the event president.
Koscheck has been fighting in the UFC since 2005 and has a record of 15 wins and seven losses in the event. He is one of the fighters from the first edition of The Ultimate Fighter, with White always expressing affection for the athletes of the inaugural season. Competing at middleweight in reality show, Koscheck was defeated in the semi-finals to Diego Sanchez, who later became champion.

and sorry about Dana White, Koscheck, he already gave what he had to give, I saw all his last 3 fights, he's not the same anymore, if he stays he'll be a punching bag and a stepping stone for younger fighters...
