Georges St Pierre announced, after winning John hendricks, last Saturday (16), who will step away from competitions indefinitely. Even though the Canadian's withdrawal may not be definitive, the statement is already starting to move the UFC's welterweight division.
the american Robbie Lawler, who beat Rory McDonald at UFC 167 and is on a three-fight winning streak, has already offered to fight for the interim belt against John hendricks.
“I feel great. I think if St. Pierre is out for a while, we can do me against Hendricks for the interim belt. And if GSP comes back, I’m going to finish him off too,” said Lawler.
