In an interview with MMA Fighting, today's hottest prospect said that the organization offered him, the winner of the duel between Kamaru Usman e Leon edwards, scheduled for August, but declared that he prefers to remain active, as he believes he would have to wait a long time for the confrontation.

“If I wanted to wait for who wins the fight between Usman and Edwards, I would fight this guy. I don't need to fight Nate. I fight him for fun. If I wanted to wait, it would take a long time. Usman fought once in a year. He has everything, money, he's number one pound-for-pound, that's why he wants to wait. He takes too long and doesn't want to lose the belt. Everyone knows I'm going after it, hungry and younger. All the guys in the top-10, I'm ten years younger. They know what will happen if they fight me,” Chimaev said.
Undefeated in MMA with 11 straight wins, Chimaev has won his five UFC fights so far. The Swede easily passed John Phillips, rhys mckee, Gerald meerschaert e li jingliang. Last April, the prospect had his first major war in the organization and beat the former challenger Gilbert Durinho n unanimous decision of the judges.
