“I think 100% should be Cain Velazquez, who is in prison. Is not fair. Velasquez deserves this Hall of Fame honor. I think that Frankie Edgar deserves this. He was very small and he fought at lightweight with all these monsters like Ben henderson, Gray Maynard. All these guys were much bigger, other lightweights, but he beat them all and became champion,” said Khabib.
Khabib achieved a historic feat in his career in MMA. In addition to holding the lightweight title in the company, the Russian left the sport undefeated, with 29 consecutive victories. A mixed martial arts professional between 2008 and 2020, the Russian enchanted part of the sport's fans with his pragmatic and unbeatable style. Along the way, he overcame Conor McGregor, Justin gaethje, Dustin poirier e Edson Barboza.
